The purpose of the club was to give those students in grades nine through twelve who were interested in science a chance to experiment more freely in biology, chemistry, and physics. Some of these members submitted entries to Science Day held at Bowling Green University on April 5. Craft The Radio Club provided an opportunity for the students of Central High School to par- ticipate in a most modern type of communication. Members of this club planned scripts, announced programs, or scouted for school talent. The thirty-one members of the Radio Club were chosen by competitive tryouts at the beginning of the school year. Meetings scheduled by their advisor were held either in room ll2, or room 208. Every Wednesday the club's broadcast came to the public over WIMA from four o'clock to four-fifteen. At their recognition party held at the end of the school year all the members received certificates and some, due to outstanding work, received pins. Virginia Winget -1 13-
