Father Herr teaches seniorapol ogetics, is director of athletics and dramatics, and adviser of the Flame Staff. Father was born in Huron, Ohio, in l9ll, and graduated from St. John 's High School, Toledo, in l928. He received his A.B. degree in l'-732 from St. Gregory's Seminary and his M. A. in Philosophy from St. Mary's Seminary ln I936. He wasordained June 6 I936. He received his M.A. in English from Columbia University in l938. For nineteen years before cominq to Lima Central Catholic, Father Herr was Principal at Delphos St. John's High School.
