Dedication To Gur Mothers and Fathers The thoughts have always been in our hearts, the words close to our lips. All that remained was the appropriate occasion for ex- pressing them. To you, our Moms and Dads, we owe a debt which in a lifetime will never be paid in full. You were our first teachers, explaining our childlike curiosities in a manner befitting our age. You lessened the burden on the stumbling path of adolescence and first began to shape the character of adults. You remembered the restless yearnings of youth and knew what was best. Today we are Seniors, tomorrow we will emerge the citizenry of a world filled with confusion and error. Thanks, Moms and Dads, for the securitywe feelin facing, with confidence, the everyday occur- rences in the world. Thanks, too, for the set of ideals which you have given us. And our thanks to You, Almighty God, for sending our Moms and Dads to us.

Alma Mater Your walls are not covered with ivy, your stature is not of modern decor, yet one need only enter your interior to be drawn from the present to remembrances of school days. You hold the priceless memories of youth. In you, we again see the eager anticipation of wide-eyed and awkward fresh- men attempting to assume an air of self-assurance. We know the wonder and delight of actually belonging to part of a cheer- ing crowd in the icy thrill of a football game or the mounting suspense of a basketball tournament. We hear your name shouted to the heavens and resounding from the rafters of a gym, proving love and loyalty. Through you , we remember the edification of a silent retreat: the long evenings spent completing homework assignments: and the sighs of relief or groans of horror which accompanied grade cards . To us, who feel your warmth and guiding presence, you are notjust a brick building, a lifeless inanimate object.
