All pepped up to start the l957-'58 season are these Green Pepper varsity cheer leaders: first row, Peggy Strohm and Rita Biritzg second row, Mary Ann Soligo and Shirley Truebloodg third row, Vicki Brown and Janice Cushing. Varsity Irish Atom-Smashers One rainy day in the early fall the varsity team was confined to the gym for signal practice. The starting line-up pictured here is composed mostly of senior lettermen. Miss Dorothy Kennedy, who joined the Lillis faculty this fall, looks bewildered. She wonders who is who in this picture. Well, so do we. Or could it be that Cheryl, like most be- ginning freshmen, hasn't learned how to master one of those monsters yet? Freshmen, lain-ia Keno and Judy Theis, aren't slow in discovering the best place to go for help.
