This group of leaders seeks to foster school spirit, to promote worthwhile activities, and to coordinate the opinions and efforts of students with those of the faculty. All pepped up to start the l957-'58 season are these Green Pepper varsity cheer leaders: first row, Peggy Strohm and Rita Biritzg second row, Mary Ann Soligo and Shirley Truebloodg third row, Vicki Brown and Janice Cushing. Varsity Irish Atom-Smashers One rainy day in the early fall the varsity team was confined to the gym for signal practice. The starting line-up pictured here is composed mostly of senior lettermen.
