On the day following the championship game, the coaches and the varsity football squad were celebrities at an all-school Victory Assembly. Freshman boys, besides having two of their members, Gary Barnes and Mike Muehlberger, seated on the stage with the varsity players, did their bit to liven the assembly, They rendered a parody on Baa, Baa, Baa. Instead of singing We're poor little lambs, they sang We're poor little Rams. These singing Rams are pictured at the right. Coach Mintner, with his famous champion- ship hat, held the stage at the climax of the Voctory Assembly.
