We welcome him as our shepherd, as The Admiral of God's Fleer in the Kansas City-Sf. Joseph Diocese. 4 --,341 5l,'9f1?E!,'3-5 J i t A if f To Archbishop Edwin V. O'Hara, who died on September 12, 1956, we dedicate this 1957 Lillislog. Fourteen years ago, Lillis students dedicated their First yearbook to the Archbishop to show appreci- ation for his having founded a school such as Lillis to help provide for the spiritual, intellectual, cultural and physical education of the youth of his diocese. Archbishop Edwin V. O'Hara Few leaders have done as much to further Catholic education as he did. As a spiritual father and loyal friend, he has enriched the high school days of more than 1,800 students who attended Lillis High School since the laying of the cornerstone in 1941. , ,- :lf-w A who 3 ' ,I V LA ,,, x A W ' Ni ,K VH 'ju' Q . -JF' K- -' 'Q S , S f S .im sy, R f f., ' ' ...Q A 2 12 -Q gi 7 , -' ' ' ' ' IQJAQ ' f' M if 3 'iii - ur it ' J Zvqi Bow Vogagef Our Ship Ab dw l-loam Commanding Officers Owufhew Lieutenants Seamen Seamen Apprentices Seamen Recruits Unzllffv Qaiff ln the Engine Rooms Volwftelyv Duties Spiritual Mental Social Physical Taps G-3fo4L'sA ' Rev.
