Senior Clot Officers enjoy a friendly chat. Left, to right: Louise Sullivan, vice-president: Charles Ballard, president: Mary Pat Richardson, treasurer; and Tom Jo Ray, secretary. While the world rises from the ashes and debris of a global warfare and rumors of another con- flict circulate, the Church, oppressed as she would seem, takes time to celebrate her joy in God - the Jubilee Year. JOY then, is the chosen keynote, the theme, the spirit of the class of '50. Graduates of this year have many reasons for gladness and satisfaction. Ours is the JOY that springs from true Christian religion—from a Catholic education. And yet, in such times of contentment, shades of sorrow creep in—sorrow that our carefree days, days of joy at Lillis are gone forever. Some consolation is to be had in the memories that the pages of this book will bring to all students of the year 1950—memories of JOY in friendly Combat, JOY in Social Activities, JOY in Study, JOY in Comradeship - - - 12
