A new group with new hopes, goals, and aspi- rations is born to go and conquer the world with a loyal banner. The final evaluation of this conquest cannot be measured by yardsticks of knowl- edge, but rather by accomplishments and achievements of the members of this graduating class of 1972. Let this new experi- ence thrust you into a lifestyle that will contribute to the improvement of our total environment. With sincere wishes, (,) EXCUSES! EXCUSES! EXCUSES! Administration Principal . Officers of 1971-1972 Boosters Club This school year of 1971-1972 has held many memories for the students at LHS. Through sports, personal objectives have been obtained and raised, someone clapped their hands and felt en- thusiasm for a team striving to defeat the opponent, our coach slapped someone on the back and said, “Well done,” and spectators as well as players learned that working together as a team is the winners’ motto. All of this and much more was made possible due to the Boosters’ Club interest and support. They came to the games and showed more spirit for the teams than anyone. They proved their confidence in the Cavaliers by finan- cial contributions. In short it is because of the Boosters’ Club that LHS had their three season sports. ae — OUTSTANDING SENIORS How do a few students out of a class of 90 Seniors become labeled “outstanding?” The 1972 Senior Class nominated and selected these students on the basis of scholastic achievement, ‘sports participation, and leadership ability in the various extra- curricular activities of the high school.
