of America FHA is a national organization for students of Home Economics. Honors are earned through work toward Junior, Chapter, and State Homemaker Degrees. We are proud to have sixteen FHAers awarded State De- grees in 1970 and 15 candidates for 1971. Highlights of year are District IV Rally, election of Cynthia Johnson, tea State Historian, Mother-Daughter Banquet, tea at governor’s mansion, State Degrees Candidate’s banquet, State Convention skit, and Nation- al Convention in Kansas City. North Carolina selected ‘‘Tomorrow’s World—Today’s Decision” as theme for year.
