.. .., Mr. john E. Beck, our Senior High School principal, is a friendly advisor to all. Never is he too busy to listen to our problems and guide us in making important decisions, although every day brings many administrative duties which re- quire much time. Nobody Worked more untir- ingly than he to have the new Field House at the football field ready for the Bi-centennial game. By doing wood work in his shop at home or in boating on Deep Creek Lake, Maryland, he likes to forget about problems. Mr. Albert XV. Peters, the capable principal of our lunior High School. received his Master of Education degree at the University of Pitts- burgh and is now working on his doctorate. He is a life member of the National Education As- sociation and takes an active part in all organi- zations connected with the teaching profession. Although very busy with his many duties and responsibilities, he alwavs has time to be inter- ested in the problems of the individual student or teacher. Nlr. Peters, philosophv of doing each task well has made him a good administrator. and we wish him success in the future. 5 Lam, Mr. Earl K. Burkholder. our Elementary Supervisor. received his B.S. degree from Cali- fornia State Teachers College. Before becoming a member of our staff, he was a classroom teacher for ten years in the Fayette County Schools. Today he is kept busv making his tour of duties between the Hill, the Borough Ele- mentary, and the New School in Cook Town- ship. Sir. Burkholder takes an active part in both educational and civic organizations and whenever possible takes time to relax through his favorite sports-hunting. fishing, and travel- ing. 9
