( REWORD The facets and diversity of our capital city are many and varied, yet somewhat removed from us as younger citizens, but dear to our hearts are the memories of by- gone days here at our Alma Mater. To preserve a record of these moments and the count- less other experiences of you and your classmates, this Annual strives to capture the eyes and mind of the scholarship, the leadership, the activities and the character of Ligon High School. With the passage of years one may look back upon this school year as the time when the darkness of ignorance suddenly became bright with the gleam of knowledge radiated from this segment of our fair city and say From this Capital City came the 1966 ECHO.
