5' I mm Elass H. ASHCRAFT T. ADAMS Pre5ident Vice Pf9Slder1f As we, the Class of '56, prepare to leave Libertyville-Fremont High School, we have many things to look back on. ln September Marsha Hagi and Mary Hinderyckx were welcomed back from a summer in Germany and Greece. We were glad to have Eckhart Welsh with us as an ex- change student from Germany. VALEDICTORIAN SALUTATORIAN f-mf Anne Bergfald Philip Gerberding ' J. PROCTOR K. BURNETT Secretary Treasurer Our new felt senior responsibilities began with Homecoming. The pep rally was again a success. The frosh were made aware that they were merely freshmen by performing sa few stunts directed by the senior L Club- members. The senior girls presented, a skit portraying the football team's activities the night before Home- coming, as seen in the coach's dream. Amid a spectacular fireworks display, Queen Julie was crowned - to reign over the remainder of the Homecoming events. The Christmas Dance, Pink Heaven began the holidays successfully. The Senior Play, The Late Christopher Bean, successfully utilized the theater-in-the-round. The senior boys versus faculty basketball game helped to raise money for the March of Dimes. Our, four years here have sped, and it is with a touch of sadness, that we put on our caps and gowns and walk forward to receive our diplomas and the future. CLASS MOTTO: Onward ever, backward never. CLASS COLORS: Ice Blue and Silver. CLASS FLOWER: White Rose
