' The Senior Glass decided to advertise their play well as an advertising agency could. Believe it or not, the seniors can be busy little beavers when they try. Can't they, Mrs. Johnson? She knows! They decided on exclusive posters to do the work. All week long they worked and worked and oh, so hard! H111 they finish in time? . I Thursday, the 4th, we had a baseball game with Cygnet. Flagpole Sheline pitched a 7 hit game and did some all rest hitting himself. Bobbie Thompson was really on the beam. He snagged a line drive running to his left and tagged the runner trying to get back to second base. He got a bruise on the side of the noggin for his efforts, anyway. what a game! Gygnet won 6-3, though. Here are those seniors again! Always doing some- thing! Can't sit still a minute! This time they had a hayrlde. They brought along some intimate friends. They saw more country that night! Sr. boys and girls had tryouts for the play. They were really surprised about who get the parts. Play practice certainly serves as an excuse for not getting lessons. It certainly is more fun, and money, 1sn't it Bob? We have plenty of visitors. First Shirley Potter, graduate of two years, and our good friend Jr. Searfoss. Junior is finally gettiqgito be a man. He's in the ' Navy, girls. He went iniveighing 155 lbs. and loek at him after two nonthsf'l81 lbs. What a hunk of man! Oh, yes, we got our report cards. We were all so happy, weren't we? The good old seniors, again, had a meeting about class pictures. The Senior Play nYou Canft Take It With Youn was presented on November 2nd, Gee, was Mrs. Johnson ever tickled to have it such a success. Mr. DePinna was a sensash part of the program and Grand- pa was really alreet. tHe put his two bits worth in and made it hilarious. Well, you know Scotchie. The Seniors finally decided where they wanted to be shot. Halker's it was, that is Wa1ker's I say. The camera took it's ghastly fate like a man, oh, my mistake, camera, camera, that is. Then came the trip to Toledo. There was plenty of help when it came to fixing flats, wnsn't there keeds? Every- thing went ginger peachy. Maybe nDocn was a bit bored, but how could he be with what rode with him? It was simply cosmic, wasn't it UDocn? Jack was happy, tool I'll bet those two girls 'Doc'ato Lunch with were thrilled all to pieces. How about it gals? MIGHT SHIFT I'll never get my homework done, It's midnight and I've just begun. Of course, it had to be postponed when certain parties telephoned. Then, too, I simply couldn't cope with Ancient Hist'ry AND Bob Hope. And, by the time that Bob was through, I had my hair and nails to do. Oh, evening duties are so myriad I thank my stars for Study Period! w Aren't we sharp as a drill, and twice as boring? eff-,ft ' fx. ....... , , ff? I '- 0 ' v f ' Y-1 J M ix X 7 ' lei T .
