PRCPI-IECY i4 B Y BOB R IC HAR DSON May 17, 1968. Twenty two years since the class of '46 had left the portals of Liberty High School. Time had wrought its changes. I gripped tightly my briefcase. I thought of all the things its contents meant to the people of the world. In this briefcase were important, secret documents to Dayu Duo, Emperor of the Moon. My mission was to try to make friends of the moon men. In my hotel room were dozens of telegrams wishing me luck in the undertaking. I was happy to hear from all my classmates, as I thought of what they were doing. When at the Statler, I went into the barber shop to get a shave. My barter was a cute little miss whom was known to one and all as Rena Wagner. Rena was just like 992 of all barbers, and women- She ran off the head at all times. She told me about the first time she tried shaving a person at barber school. The person was already in the chair when she arrived. After several minutes of industrious shaving, she stopped suddenly. 'What's wrong?u asked the instructor. UI cut this guy 5 times and he donft bleed.W Rena told me that Bonnie Lindquist is living in Evanston, Illinois. If you remember, Bonnie married the animal trainer from the Carnival at Cygnet the year she graduated. Rena said that Bonnie seems to be very happy, with her snakes, pigeons, goats, and husband. I also heard that Hugh CFlagpoleD Sheline is in the insurance business in Hartford, Conn. Hugh said so far he has insured half the men and all the brunettes. Rena told me that Tom Thompson was here at the hotel. I hurried up to room 24C and found a man with graying hair around the temples, and a narrow mustache on the upperllp. This was Tom Thompson. He didn't recognize me, and thought I was one of his customers. Before I knew what had happened, I was the owner of a Royal Typewriter. I was shocked to hear that Tom was selling such things. When we were in high school, Tom vowed he would never touch another typewriter Cexcept for medicinal purposesj. But time makes changes. I asked him how Leanna was, and was surprised, nay, startled, with his reply. NOh, we broke up the summer I graduated. Her sister told me that she snored in her sleep, and I lost interest in her.n

John Knaggs, will my ability to drive fast and accurately? to Leroy Strausbaugh providing he takes out insurance. Bill Strausbaugh, will my attempt to get dates with girls to Mike Smith and I hope that Mike has better luck. Jack Warner, will my chemistry equipment to D. L. Whit- acre, providing he uses it to end his quarrel with Dick Adler. Jim Hill's voice came out of the hotel detective's mouth. nJIm, old man. Don't you recognize me?' 'Yea, I recognize ya Richardson, and keep movin'.n nJim, remember how I used to make paper wads for you in Civics Class?n nYea, and remember how you let something slip about a blond in Toledo while talking to a Brunette in Wingston.' - How nice the weather is outside. The birds are twitterlng, the grass is green, the snapdragons are snapping, the petunias are petuning, the Belgian lilies are belch---ah blooming. I picked myself up off the sidewalk, and dragged my mangled bones over to a park bench. I My eyes fell on the headlines of the sport page. STRAUSBAUGH SINKS 47 POINTS IN OILERS' WIN. I read on to find that Bill Strausbaugh is playing professional basketball for the San Francisco Oilers, and is the star of the team. So far this year Bill has scored 1079 points in 28 games. Then I noticed a reprint from a feature story in Life Magazine. Janet Chamberlain and Joyce Robinson are in partnership together. They are running an old peoples home. So far, they are doing very well. In an interview, the girls stated: Janet: UAS long as I'm around food, I'm happy.n Joyce said, WI always liked to work with old people.n lGuess that's the reason she got along with the teachers so well.j The girls went to the Moron Institute the fall after graduation. You've probably heard the school yell of the noble institution-- Rooty toot toot Rooty toot toot We're from the Moron Institute We don't smoke and we don't chew And we don't go with girls that do Maybe you think we don't have fun Well, we don't!
