His manner of life, his methods of instruction, and his tact in governing young ladies of varied tastes and temperaments, peculiarly fit him for the position he occupies. He is also well married. Mrs. Williams is admirably adapted by nat- ural endowments and education to be the female head of such an institution. 'She readily wins and permanently holds the love and confidence of the girls.
