SCRAPPER I :V - s ST? y Foreword . We have preserved for you through the media of pictures and type, the story of our years at Liberty High School. To us the events of these particular years are unique. Some have seemed important, some of only passing value, but the joys and sorrows we experienced can never be relived except in our memories. We want you to see these years in retrospect, not as a mere record of events, but as a warm living record of a most important period in our lives. With this in mind, we think this will truthfully represent high school life from the student ' s point of view. Our primary aim has been to make this a student’s book—one that each of you can feel is truly represen¬ tative and cosmopolitan. Working and playing with you has been fun. We hope that we have reflected some of that pleasure in these pages and that it will be a true mirror of our years at Liberty High School. ELLER We are better for having known him: For his efforts to make ours a better school, his faithful attendance at our athletic contests, his concern and care of an injured player, and for his warm friendly smile on the street or in his office. Hands in his pockets, a twinkle in his eyes, a teasing smile on his lips, a worthy op¬ ponent on the baseball diamond, a good student, a loyal friend, a devoted son -- for these rea¬ sons among others we honor his memory. A member of last year ' s graduating class, Wayne was known and liked by all of us.
