Then the Drainatics Club will welcome you and appease Your Uliootlight fever by teaching you the tra- ditions of the stage. The Ursuline girl is given a well-rounded training in histrionics. She learns the art of applying malce-up and the use of correct speech arid proper gestures, By participation in plays and declamatitin contests she gains poise and conhdence, lhe Dramatics Club promises a training that will carry over into later life, Although all its members may not become great actresses, they will of necessity form the ideal audience of the theatre of tomorrow. ART An education could hardly be termed com- plete without some training in the principles of Art, VVith this in mind ot1r Art Studio was begun and continues in this same spirit today, The courses offered to the girls haye been arranged to give the student a good training and background for future study. There are classes in Interior Decorating, clay modeling and gen- eral art, which includes sketching pastels, and Water and oil painting. An excellent course in Home Economics is offered to the Ursuline girls. They learn the correct method of mending, fitting and those little tricks of the trade that give to their clothes that much coveted Hnished appearance.
