Students 'Walk Thru' I ff ff! WW-L qhfll Long Lines! The real problem of the Vifalk-thru was not the stations inside of the cafeteria area but the long lines in the heat outside ofthe building. Students and their parents were remarkedly patient with the first ever NX'a1k-thru. Parents commented very favorably about the information they learned about the school, .ilu-Q-X . V 1 -,, ff' .J 957- 'flfcr ...5 . .-J. Students use different forms of transportation to arrive at school. After parking their autos these three boys walk onto campus as the young lady pushes her bike. Rally Squad members Susan Snell and jenni Calandri study together in one of their academic classes. On game days the members ofthe squad wore their colorful uniforms to school to help raise spirit for the upcoming con- tests. During the fall months the squad worked hard on rallies. in particular the Homecoming Rally. They spent many hours last summer going to camp and perfecting skills for entertaining the student body. Often the girls stayed after school to work on their routines and practice skits for an up coming ral- ly. On the Wednesday evening before a rally, the entire squad had to come down to the school to have their routines and skits auditioned before Stu- dent Activity Director Roy Ghiggeri and a group ofiudges. The squad consists of freshmen, jv, and varsity cheerleadersg songleaders, mascots, and yell leaders. These positions are not elected in that the girls must try out before a panel of pudges wherein the most talented are then chosen for the honor of representing their school. The girls give up many an evening at both home and away games to cheer on Libertys teams. Kendra Blair, Rick Srarbuck, and Michelle Stranahan all help at the Walk-thru.
