Lined up and ready for their cue to march down Ohmstede field the graduating seniors were repared on june 6, 1975 to perform their final task together as a class. Making last minute checks to see that their cardinal and gold caps and gowns were in place the seniors reminisced about their four year venture through high school. Remember when . . . spread through the crowd and suddenly it was Yesterday Once More. Remembering their freshman year the seniors realized they were experiencing as raduates the same mixed feelings they had felt upon entering high school. The jump from their eighth grade to geshman year had seemed scary and exciting, but now upon graduation college, occupations, and marriage were in the near future of many of the class of 1975. As new as the whole concept of high school had seemed to the class they accomplished much in the way of learning, experiencing, and enjoying. jumping right into the middle of things the class, led by joe Munoz, pres- ident, Eddie Garcia, vice president, Rosemarie Sanchez, treasurer, Susan Chan, secretar , and Angel Cueva, representative, started out the year raising money by holding a dance. Mr. Herb Scott anJMiss Kaye Axelgard, class advisers, gave the freshmen pointers as they enthusiasticall worked together to make the most of their first Homecoming. They placed first in the competition yelling, thircllin the penny raising contest and produced their first float, themed Scalp Em . 1972 would be a hard year for the class of 75 to forget as it stood for all the newness and changes high school had in store for them. Memories of their sophomore year proved equally as unforgettable. One year older and more experienced with the techniques of igh school life, class officers Eddie Garcia, president, joe Munoz, vice president, Tanya Tutor, secretary, Susan Chan, treasurer, and Paula Graves, representative took over the responsibility of leading the class. Helping them earn money, compete with the other classes at Homecomin , and organize their first semi-fogmal dance, advisers Mr. Herb Scott and Miss Nancy Doi guided the budding sopiuomores through another success u year. Combining all their ideas, talants, and manpower the class turned out their second float and numerous, well- organized posters which enabled the sophomores to win first place in the poster contest. Bringing their record up to two wins in a row the class out yelled all the other classes at the homecoming rally. Five girls and five boys of the sophomore class, picked by their classmates, felt the excitement of competition as they vied for the titles of Sophomore' Hop King and Queen. On May 19, 1973 the sophomores gathered with their dates to dance, converse and enjoy the music. The highlight of the evening arrived when jorge Moreno and Lindsey Nunn were announced King and Queen. janet Smith, Lisa Mori, Roxanne Sciortino were princess runner-ups while prince runner-ups were: Chris Gaylor, Eddie Garcia, Frank Unpingco and joe Page. The sopho- morescpicked the theme SliEpin into Darkness for their hop. Fon rememberances of igh school would not be complete for the class of 75 without a colorful picture of their junior year. With two years of experience behind them the class of 75 set out to really accomplish something during their third homecoming. Constructing their best float yet the juniors took third place with the theme Shoot 2 Victory . Excitement mounted as the juniors waited at the homecoming rally for the results of the competition yelling. For the third consecutive year the class of 75 took first place. Romantic thoughts began to creep into the minds of the class as they prepared for their junior Prom. Pieces of April was the appropriate theme as the Prom was held on April 6, 1974. The juniors and their dates enjoyed the sounds of Madness on this special night. Another successful year had come and gone with Tony Ball, president, Paula Graves vice president, Roxanne Sciortino, secretary, janet Smith, treasurer, and Stella Rios, representative to thank for organizing the day by day events of the class. Memories just as the real thing go by fast and suddenly its the 1974-1975 school year again. For the seniors
