Seniors Look Back On Four Members of the Class of I972 learned that life consists of fin- ishing the old and preparing for the new. All year seniors went to classes, participated in events and observed things they had taken for granted for three years and realized that this was the last time they would ever do these things. At the same time they were making plans for their futures after graduation. Even before school opened in the fall, class officers, Doug Myers. president: Joe Seeno, vice-presi- dent: Judy DeMartini, secretary: Mary Hanson, treasurerg and Ro- DOREEN ABREU Band lll, Girls' Block Spanish Club, Pep Club, GAA, Girls' PE IWE, Honor Roll BRENDA ALTES RICH AMBROSINO Varsity Wrestling, JV Baseball, Frosh Football, JV Wrestling, Varsity Track Manager, Boys' Block FFA, Auto Club THOMAS ANNAND JV Football, Frosh Football, JV Base- ball, Frosh Basketball, FFA ROBERT BARNETT LAURENCE NELSON BARRON ll FFA Treasurer, FFA, Auto Club, JV Basketball, Frosh Basketball, Frosh Football KATHLEEN BARTON Madrigal, A'Capella Choir, Band Ill, Business Club, Nurses' Club, FHA, GAA, Track Charter, Office Assistant WADE BARTON FFA, Ag lWE JIM BECK Elementary Tutor, Library IWE 20 bert Dyer, representative, were hard at work on plans for the year. Memorable events were the Senior Ball, Graduation and the Senior All Night Party. Even though the seniors didn't do well in spirit events during Homecoming Week, they tried to make it their best. Many hours of hard work went into building the second-prize winning float, For Whom the Bell Tolls . No one will forget when the chain fell off the bicycle in the bike race. As graduation drew near the graduates looked back on their four Previous Years years at Liberty. Prominent from their freshman year was the float that looked so good in Mori's gar- age but along with all the other floats looked so small. They re- member that in their sophomore and junior years they showed every- body they could make floats by cap- turing first prize both years. In the junior year they also walked away with the Homecoming Trophy. The seniors' four years would not have been so successful without the help of advisers, Mrs. Sue Fort- ner, and Mr. Gerald Crawford. 4-,Q xx. vb.
