S.. i Because ofthe importance of farming in the surrounding Brentwood area, the agriculture department at Liberty has been greatly developed. With access to a full one and one-fourth acres of land and two new greenhouses, the department has been able to place more emphasis on actual field training. Drafting Utilizes New Equipment To keep up with the progress in modern industry, the drafting department has presented a pro- gram encouraging the use of modern drafting equipment. Girls have been welcomed into this department because of the new trend for female labor in industry. Besides the Mechanical Drawing I and Il classes, there were also two classes offered in Archi- tectural Drawing. These courses have been found to be a good background for varying oc- cupations such as drafting. interior decorating and engineering.
