The business courses offer a basic education to those who wish to have a part in the business world. Students are introduced to such skills as typing, filing, accounting, duplicating and sten- ography. In his first year at Liberty, Mr. Donald Yeager is an important addition to this depart- ment. Also important to a business career are the fundamentals students learn such as record keep- ing, bookkeeping, clerical office practice, short- hand, and business mathematics. Science Promises Much More Science is an art to which we should give credit for our many comforts. These luxuries are product of thought. The Science Department endeavors to stimulate thought, to develop the scientific attitude, and to encourage experimentation. One year of science is required of Liberty students. They obtain this through General Science, taught by a new teacher, Mr. Robert Glenn.
