GERALD CLAYBURN The Lion's Staff proudly dedicates this book to Mr. Clayburn for his fine work in the applied arts program. During the nine years he has been with us, he has made many contributions to our school. Mr. Clayburn started his teaching career in 1949 at the Plattsmith High School in Nebraska where he worked as a teacher of industrial arts and a coach of football basketball, and track. In 1954 he joined Liberty's Industrial Arts program. 1963 2 was his first year in the administration as vice-principal, but We feel confident that he has won the admiration of both the faculty and the students. The loyalty and devotion we feel for Mr. Clayburn is because of his sincere and personal interest in each student. He has guided many Liberty students with a firm but friendly hand.
