Advisor Miss Van Tassel LATIN CLUB Latin Club had a successful coke sale the first football game of the season. On November 29, we had a good turn out for the Latin Club banquet, a costume dinner party. During the middle of the year we had our annual trip, and on March 18, we participated in the Junior Classical League Convention. At the end of the school year we had our Latin Club picnic. One of the purposes of the Future Farmers of America is to participate in worthy undertakings for the improvement of agriculture. The Brentwood Chapter seeks to accomplish this objec- tive by participating in Fairs and judging contests. By taking their animals, crops and farm mechanic projects to a competitive show they hope to learn the importance of high quality agricultural products. The local chapter sponsors a Judging Contest each year for the Future Farm- ers of Central California. At the beginning of the school year, new officers for the C.S.F. were chosen. During the year, C.S.F. has been engaged in semester trips, a dance, and also an annual carnival. In Septem- ber of last year, C.S.F. members sold annual pictures in the student center. It picnic, and the annual banquet. President Margie Beaver Vice President Judy Morales Secretary Joan Swicegood Treasurer Barbara Baroni Advisor Mr. Noble A CAPPELLA CHOIR Under the direction of Mr. Noble, the A Cappella Choir participated in many worthwhile and enjoyable programs during the year. The first of these was the American Heritage Day program, in which we participated with many other Bay Area schools. The Choir added to the Christmas Concert. The Spring Concert was the climax of a very successful year for the Choir. Advisor Mrs. Bell FUTURE NURSES The Future Nurses Club, on its second year, has increased in members, The Club is sponsored by the Oakley Women's Club, with Mrs. Bell as advisor.
