Superintendent's Message The current school year has witnessed a great awakening of interest by the American people in our public schools, especially our high schools. This increased attention has produced some unfair criticism but on the whole it is a fine thing for schools. Ours are community schools and they are nurtured by constant community concern. It is most encouraging that currently the attention of the public is largely centered on improving the level of student achievement. This has always been the major ob- jective of our school and any help the community can give us is more than welcomed. f 6
