ORCHESTRA MUSIC DEPARTMENT The Music DeparTmenT, under The di- recTion oT Mr. John Farr, has had many acTiviTies during The year. The orchesTra played Tor The Fresh- man RecepTion, T-ligh Jinx, STudenT Body Play, l.incoln's Day Program, and C5raduaTion. By playing and marching aT The games, The band added color To all The sporTs. The Glee Club sang aT The Freshman RecepTion, l-ligh Jinx, and numerous oTher programs ThroughouT The year. Members of The band and orchesTras demonsTraTed Their insTrumenTs and how To play Them aT The elemenTary schools oT Diablo Valley. The orchesTra also aTTended a concerT oT Percy Grainger and The College of Pacific orchesTra in SToclcTon. The second annual Spring ConcerT was held May l5.
