A rhuse ot the end of the doy psyched everyone up for the big gome os spirit week wound up for another year. 12 Spirit Week 13 14 The Homecoming Gome October 9 was the night of the Homecoming gome ogoinsf the Lincoln Cougars The Moun- taineers gove It their oil, but could not overcome their op- ponent. She was selected as feature twirler her sophomore year and through hard work and determination she maintained the position during her junior and senior years. Mr. Wilson Currey presented Nicole McVoney with o cenificore for achieving the Notional Merit Scholarship. Nicole wos the first such finalist in the history of Liberty High School. Mrs. Noncy Atkinson acknowledged those students who hod received scholarships ond special recognition. After remarks were mode, the senior doss received their long owoired diplomas. Mr. Gory Fain announced each senior ond Mr. Currey asked Mr. Richard Johnson to present the diplomos because it wos his lost year os assistant principal of Liberty High School.
