For many LCS students the art de- partment was a new creative outletg for others, a challenge for perfection. 6'And one, 2, 3 .. ., emphasized Mr. Mone at a band rehearsal. Flutes, trumpets, and clari- nets tuned up for their many assembly and concert performances. Lessons, practices, and then competition-scales, and finally, they played those solos which they worked on for weeks. Then there were the special occasions when Liberty's marching band, decked out in red and white unifonns, graced Liberty's streets. F I Ah-h-h, come on Mr. Eckhart, you can dance. Mr. G.
