Again his attention is caught by the voice of Harry Rubenzahl who, on his program of helpful household hints, is today telling all his admiring listeners the secret of being a successful farmer's wife. He is followed by Char- lotte Main who tells the ladies how to successfully manage their husbands. Her suggestion for today is that to get your husband to watch the children while you go out with Van Johnson, you must first get Van Johnson. Finally the station with the trial report is located as Estelle Kessler, foreman of the jury, who is now Georgia's undisputed Governor. is ready to read the verdict. But just then a great disturbance is caused by the entrance of detective Allen Hasbrouck, who calls out for a halt in the proceedings. He has with him pro- fessional hobo. Sheldon Cohen, who, in spite of his shabby clothes, can be recognized by the gold-engraved plaque around his neck: Six points in the 1946-47 Duso season. Sol brings the trial to a sensational close by his startling testimony that just as he was passing by the Haflin home. he saw Kilroy come out and force the child into a carg thereby exonerating Matzinger. Prof. Panebaker sighs deeply and, satisfied that his former pupil has been acquitted, he sets off for the puppet show.
