A reception in the library of the Liberty High School building honored all the Exes. Following the reception and before the game, Clarence Lamb welcomed the Exes. Ramey Griffin, an ex- student of L. H. S, , responded to Clarence's welcome. Joyce June Arceneaux was recognized as Football Sweetheart. The place chosen L for this event was thekCity Hall, which was cleverly decorated in the Christ- mas motif. The program was opened with an invocation by Robert Morrison, student band director. The Reverend Robert Green, vicar of the St. Stephens Episcopal Church, who was master of ceremonies, kept the program going at a lively pace throughout the evening. A delicious meal was served, after which the entertainment began. Following the performance of the Vivien King School of Dancing, Tommy O'Brien, the main speaker, gave a rousing talk on sports. Next on the program was the announcement of team captains, Billy Ray Dulaney and Buba Altenburg, and the awarding of gold and silver miniature footballs to the football lettermen and sweetheart, Joyce June Arceneaux.
