LITTLE WATER WONDER Christine Otto started swimming competitively for a club when she was only four years old. Since then she has won numerous awards, plaques, trophies, and medals swimming for the Golden West Swim Club. When Christine was thirteen she attended the National Junior Olympics and since then has been to five others in various states. She received the National lnterscholastic Swimming Coaches of America All America Award for the 500 yard freestyle l4:55.68l in 1987. This award was the highest award Liberty Christian has ever achieved in swimming. Christine also placed as the fastest High School freshman of U.S. High School swimmers, and 13th over all high school swimmers in the 500 yard freestyle. Christine received an Honorable Mention in the 200 yard freestyle uZ53.46l in CIF swimming.
