Senior Officers Ula-44 Afaaiafuf Sixty members represented our Freshman class as we started our high school days. Class of- ficers elected were: President, Betty Kigarg Vice President, 'Barbara King: Secretary, Elizabeth Brell: Treasurer, Gerry Millerg News Reporter, Lucille Sfweinhagen. Aunalee Bard represented our class as an attendant for the homecoming queen. King and queen candidates from our class were Harry Myles and Joyce Gineman. Leo Westhoven, Norita Kitter and Harry Myles were students from our class elected to the student council. Advisors for the y'ar were Mrs. Thorington and Mr. Conrad. A picnic at Liberty Center Park ended our first high school year. Entering our Sophomore year, fifty-two members returned to school. Our class advisors were Mr. Leatherman and Mr. Bolen. We elected our class officers: President, Harry Mylesg Vice Presi- dent, George Eckenrodeg Secretary, Elnora Saneholtzg Treasurer, Lucille Sweinhageng News Reporter, Fem Knapp. Our student council members' were Arlene McCabe and Russell McMaster. Mary Lou Con- nolly was chosen as an attendant for the homecoming queen. George Eckenrode and Lucille Swein- hagen were elected candidates for the king and queen contest. Arlene McCabe, Gerry Miller and Auna- lee Bard were reserve cheerleaders. Jim Biddle was chosen to be on the all-league basketball team. The year ended with a memorable picnic at the Whitehouse Park. Our junior year started wich forty-four merrbers looking forward to the events in the coming year. Officers were Gary Barlow, President: Jim Biddle, Vice President: Mary Lou Connolly, Secre- taryg Norita Kitter, Treasurer: Paul Eichar, News Reporter. Shirley Chambers and Russell McMaster represented our class at the student council meetings. Lucille Sweinhagen was chosen to reign as foot- ball queen attendant. Then came camival time and Norita Kitter and Milton Spiess represented our class as candidates for king and queen. The class published the Tiger Tales under the direction of Mr. Dwelle and Miss George. We chose our class rings and sponsored a Thanksgiving Bam Dance. The class operated the refreshment stand at football games and sold Christmas cards. Shirley Cham- bers won an award in the State Citizenship contest. Jim Biddle was the N.W.O.A.L. scoring champ and made all-league basketball team. The theme, Stars, Sky and Moon, used at our first formal dance, the Junior-Senior Prom, will long be remembered by our class. We were capably advised dur- ing the year by Miss Sherman and Mr. Boyer. The senior year began with Harry Myles, President: Terry Hufford, Vice Presidentg Norita Kitter, Secretary: Fern Knapp, Treasurerg Shirley Chambers, News Reporter. Norita Kitter and Gary Barlow were our student council members. We chose our name cards and had our senior pictures tak- en at Napoleon. Norita Kitter was chosen as homecoming queen and Pauline James was her attend- ant. Harry Myles was chosen as honorary football captain. Jim Biddle placed on the N.W.O.A.L. foot- ball team. Gerry Miller and Jim Biddle represented our class u candidates for queen and king at the carnival. Members of the annual staff were busy putting out the annual. Our class had sixteen mem- bers in band. During our four years of high school Marilyn Swartzlander represented our class as varsity cheerleader. The class presented the play, Foot-Loose. The juniors honored us at the Junior- Senior Prom. Mr. Romaker and Mr. Rickly were our advisors during the year. Then at the end of our senior year forty proud and happy members marched up the steps to receive their diplomas. As we leave our high school days behind us we are positive they will be remembered as the most bene- ficial years of our lives and will steer us to greater goals in the future. 12 Class Colors .... . . .Blue and Grey Class Flower .............
