They tried hard, but failed to break into the victor's column until about the middle of the season, when they won a decisive victory over the LaFayette Cen- tral team. The team showed a noticeable improvement in skill from the beginning of the season, and have accomplished quite a lot although they didn't have so good a win and loss record.
