During the year we lost Sarah Eulitt, but gained Donna Deal, Marvin Schimmoeller, John Stefanka, Kenny Karhoff, Mike Kuhlman, and Dan Harper. Our second year in high school was supervised by Mr. Bosse. That year we had 40 students in our ranks, including our new classmates, Cheri Chamberlain, Brenda Dysert, James Kuhlman, Jim Martin, Mike Murphy, and Dale Schimmoeller. When we started our Junior year, with Mr. Shank as our advisor, we started the busiest of our high school years. Our class numbered thirty-nine with our three new members, Sue Stockdale, Charlie Bennet, and Richard Noles present. Early in the fall we presented the play, Hail, The Hunker- ing Hero. We were kept busy all winter with the sale of Christmas cards, and operating the concession stand at the football games. With lots of hard work and some clever imagination, we presented THE LONG SHIPS as our Junior-Senior Prom. At last we were Seniors! Mr. Howard had the task of looking after our graduating class of thirty-nine. We raised money by selling peanut brittle and in the spring selling magazines, and presenting our play, Meet Me in St. Louis. We left on our class trip May ZZ, directly after Baccalaurate exercises. We graduated on MAY 2.8, 1966! We, the class of '66, wish to thank the teachers who guided us along the path of our high school days. We hope that they will recall, as we will, the many precious moments spent in the halls of Liberty-Benton. From our hearts may we say ...... they will little note nor long remem- ber what we say here, but they CANNOT forget what we have done here ..... CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of l966, will and bequeath the following propertiesg material and otherwise, to the fortunate people listed below: ARTICLE I To the Junior class, our scarred desks, our worn-out lockers, our auto- graphed books, and the glorious feeling of being Seniors. ARTICLE II To the Sophomore class, our reserved seats in the library, our ability to dodge teachers and their remarks, and our abundance of talents. ARTICLE III To the Freshman class, our great marksmanship in shooting paper wads, and all our gum wrappers. ARTICLE IV To the Faculty, our good nature, ambition, and never ending conceit-may you use them wisely! ARTICLE V I, Dennis Barber, will my ability in a wreck to demolish the other car and come out with a broken tail light to .Ioe Adams. Swerve quick! I, Pat Beck, will my ability to style my hair anyway I want it, to anyone with easy-to-manage hair. I, Sharon Beck, will my ability to be good natured to anyone who can get along with it. I, Verla Bracy, will my ability to go to a basketball tournament game and push Lois Wilson off the end of the bench to Mertie Magee and Wanda Gilbert. I-Iave fun, Wanda. I, .Tack Brown, will my pull on the Varsity Basketball Team to Terry Martin. I, Cheri Chamberlain, will my stretch pants to Mrs. Rucker with great challenge. fGood luck in the future U I, Pat Cornely, will my baton to Mrs. Rucker. Throw it and save your voice.
