Seadafaelawgfddafcq Our history began way back in the year of 1948. Eleven members of our class came from Benton Ridge to join eleven from Liberty to make the freshmen class. That year we chose Janelle Misamore as president, David La Roche as vice-president, Jo Ann Woodward as secretary, Jack Hook as treasurer, and Helen Radabaugh and Fred Hoenicke as student council members. Mrs. Gongwer was our home-room sponsor. Roy Ridge and Lester Butler entered this year. Our next year we were sophomores. We had sixteen members this year. Those who left us that year were: David La Roche, Dale Arnold, Enedina Perez, Jerry Fry, Ralph Taylor, and Merle Cramer. During the year we had Angelene Groat and Carolyn Castello to join our sophomore class. Our officers were, president, Fred Hoenicke, vice-president, Dan Gerber, secretary, Helen Radabaugh, treasurer, Jack Hook, student council, Dorothy Dukes and John Hanna. Our home-room sponsor was Mr. Howard. Next year was our junior year and we still had sixteen members to start with our class. Our officers were: president, Fred Hoenicke, vice president, Dan Gerber, secretary, Carolyn Castello, treasurer, John Hanna, student council representatives, Janelle Misamore and Roy Ridge. Mrs. Gongwer was our sponsor. We had our junior play, This Ghost Business, which we enjoyed doing, and thought to be a good success. Mr. Howard directed the play for us. Senior year was busy and an enjoyable one. We started by electing our officers, president, Dan Gerber, vice president, Fred Hoenicke, sec- retary, Carolyn Castello, treasurer, Janelle Misamore, and the student council members, Jack Hook and Dorothy Dukes. We presented the Senior play, The Elusive Bachelor, with Mrs. Wilson as our director. During the year, we had Ernest Gamble and Jerry Fry to join us in our Senior Class. 8
