Mr. Howard has been at Liberty for two years now. He acted as basketball, football, softball coach and taught Social Science. He received his B. A. degree from Findlay College. Mr. Howard majored in French and minored in Physical Education. He is the sponsor for the Sophomore Class. Miss Shank has completed her first year at Liberty as our Home Economics teacher. She received her B. S. degree at Wittenburg College. She majored in Home Economics and minored in Physical Education. Miss Shank is in charge of the cafeteria and she teaches Biology and Physical Education. She sponsors the seventh grade. Mr. Stormont is our Agriculture teacher. He is in charge. of movies this year. Mr. Stormont received his B. S. degree in General Agriculture and his M. S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. He obtained additional work in Vocational Education at Ohio State University. Mrs. West has been the Music instructor for the past four years. In this time 'she has built the music department into one of the best that we have ever had. She received her B. S. M. degree at Bluffton College. Her majors are Music and Latin, her minor, English. She acted as sponsor of the eighth grade. For five years Mrs. Gongwer has been head of the Commercial department. She received her B. A. degree at Findlay College. Her majors are Mathematics and Science, her minor is English. She took commercial training at the Tiffin Business University. This year she acted as advisor to the Junior Class. 8

Mrs. Beach went to Bowling Green State University and Ohio Northern University where she received her training in Elementary Education. She has been at Liberty for four years. She teaches fifth and sixth grades departmental and is sixth grade home room teacher. Mrs. Stewart has completed her second year at Liberty as the second grade teacher. She received her training in Elementary Education at Bowling Green State College. Miss Fleming has completed her first year at Liberty as the fourth grade teacher. She attended Bowling Green State University. Miss Fleming is working on her B. S. degree. Her majors are Elementary Education, her minors, History and Biology. Mrs. Gardner teaches the third grade. She has been teaching at Liberty for six years. She received her training in Elementary Education from Bowling Green University. Mrs. Gideon received her training in Elementary Education at Bowling Green State University and has taken college work at Western Reserve University and the University of Chicago. She teaches the first grade. This is Mrs. John's second year at Liberty. She teaches fifth and sixth grades departmental. She is the fifth grade home room teacher. Mrs. John received her Elementary Education training at Manchester College and at Bowling Green State University. 10
