eil l0l'.'5 Ji.- TOM RINEHART Presldent ARCHIE EASON V1ce Pres1dent NORMAN COBB Secretary SUE WORTHINGTON Treasurer Entenng L H S m 47 the senxors of 53 spent the1r tune ln seventh and exghth grades gettmg acquaxnted w1th the new school system and the varletles of classes As freshrnen 1n 49 they elected Naomx Smxth as the1r preszdent The hobos and ate out of tm cans Marvm Buck was elected to serve as pres1dent mn the sophomore year Thelr annual party was planned and carr1ed out very successfully The sophxe gxrls had the prxv1lege of servmg at the Jumor sen1or banquet Antlclpatmg a happy and busy year the Jun1ors of 52 elected Wesley P1fer to lead them They sold magazmes worked at concessxons had a very successful play Headed for Eden and ordered thelr class rmgs At last the bxg event of the year came the Juruor sen1or prom and banquet They used a May Day theme and were greatly rewarded wlth a delmghtful tune for both the Junlors and semors Dur1ng the summer of 52 the class was saddened by the deaths of two of the1r classmates V1rg1 I-hckey and Owen Teeters The long awalted txme came when at last they became the leaders of L H S Tom Rmehart was chosen presxdent They chose for the1r sen1or play Ah' Men' whlch was qulte successfully produced The Juniors gave a lovely prom and banquet as a farewell to them Commencement came at last and they bade farewell to thexr Alma Mater and wxll always remember the happy tunes they had and the many friends they made here 12 O Q 'U ' ig' fag, 3 ' S 3 .
