P. T. A. The Parent Teachers association was organized in 1952 and has been quite active ever since. Each fall a P.T.A. food stand operates at the Lamar Fall Festival to make the money to help carry out the project planned for the year. This P.T.A. has purchased band uniforms, water cooler, gas stoves in the lunch room, telebinocular, and is helping with the ball field lighting pro- ject. It also sponsored open house at the school building and at the new vocational Agriculture building.
