O The LIBRARY STAFF is chosen from a group of students who have expressed a desire to leam something about library work. The one in charge of the library during any period checks books in a.nd out, as- sists people in finding materials, and supervises the reading room. Other members of the staff do the typing, filing, caring for magazines and newspapers, and in addition to the regular library work the staff also has charge of the text books. This includes issuing of these books in the fall, collecting and checking them in the spring, and then storing and counting them. In addition to the knowledge ac- quired, each librarian receives a small sum of money for her work.
