This vvas a very rewarding experience for many as it brought us out of privileged comforts and allowed us to see the need of the others who are not so fortunate. With the help from dedicated workers and many skilled laborers we were able to make a huge difference in many of these communities. Some of the impact that was made was not necessarily from paint brushes and hammers, but was through relationships built with the locals. Whether vve were playing soccer with the children from an orphanage or teaching games such as rock, paper, scissors to children, and impact was made in a life. This impact vvas probably felt more by some of the crew members than by others as we began to connect with the people of these communities. Some days reallv made it hard to leave While deployed under African Partnership we had the opportunity to do various . . The COMRELS that we participated in were rewarding because it reminded us of how blessed we are with all that we tend to take for granted. As we look back on the places that we visited and on the journey that we encountered, we know that we left our mark 'th l .wi peop e of these communities.
