, , ,V Supply Officer LT Nicole Ponder was born and raised in Honolulu HI. Following high school graduation, she enlisted in the United States Navy in 1989. Upon completion of boot camp at NTC Orlando she attended TM A school before reporting to her first command, USS L.Y. SPEAR CAS 365 in Norfolk, VA. She was promoted to Torpedoman 2nd Class and earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare pin. She served as a Corrections Specialist at the Norfolk Naval Brig from 1995-2000. Following commissioning through Officer Candidate School in 2001, LT Ponder was assigned as the Disbursing!Sales Officer onboard USS MITSCHER CDDG 575 followed by a shore assignment as the OIC for the Center for Services Support Training Command. In August 2006, LT Ponder was ordered to the Fleet Industrial Supply Center where she served as the Assistant Fleet Logistics Officer. LT Ponder received a Master's of Science in Management from Troy University in 2008. LT Ponder is currently assigned as the Supply Officer onboard USS LEYTE GULF CCG 555. She is the mother of a wonderful son: Tre age 15. Her awards includes The Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal. K u . X f N 29
