Well, on the one hand, it is always great to know where we are going. what '53 We are doing and indeed it makes things so predictable. We can look ahead. 1 make plans and even anticipate all fun and COMRELs well get done. but then again that would so blase. So, on the other hand, we took the road less tixiveled ,.i,' ' for our Deployment 2008-09, an unpredictable road. a road that ut times A seemingly going everywhere, sometimes nowhere. Some would say more time to learn about our ship and our shipinates, NOT! We could have gone where others went, but instead We made our mark by boldly going where few have been before us. We got the job done when it counted most! We made the best of each opportunity and pulled together as a team and we had the good fortune of helping in some places that needed it the most. May the Lord richly bless the LEYTE GULF and the brave sailors who served during this deployment. for together it e exemplified the greatness and best as well as the strength of our unity. l-et's be proud of our accomplishments, yes, we did it! 7 months! !!
