OT Division The Electronic Warfare Technicians (EW) utilize electromagnetic en- ergy to exploit, reduce, or prevent hostile use of the electromagnetic spectrum. They operate the AN SLQ-32A(V) 3, a passive surveil- lance and detection system with electronic jamming capabilities and the MK 36 SRBOC decoy launching system w hich utilizes a variety of chaff IR decoys to counter incoming missiles. Analysis and correlation of intelli- gence information from their own equipment, afloat cyrptologic equipped ships, aircraft, and shore facilities enable the Cryptologic Technicians (CT) to provide non-real time track data to Warfare Commanders.
