She isy attempting to earn 31,000 for a community relief fund and the play involves her different schemes for gaining money. In competition with Tootsie Whitman, she sends in pictures of her parents and the house- keeper to the newspaper, which gets them all mixed up. Judy also writes a story for True Mag- azine about having three of four husbands. In the end Judy loses the contest, but she finally gets to be queen at the last minute. The three-act comedy was very entertaining to all Who attended. The play was presented November 17-18 at the Lexington High School under the direction of Mrs Barton Kline. I IF BUT I CAN'T' DOES IT MATTER Father Knows Best Betty, Bud. Kathy, and even Mother have made plans to go out. Exasperated. Father puts his foot down-they'll all stay home. Invite their friends over, ycs-but no one is to leave the house. Before he knows what has haooened, Father finds himself in the midst of all the social life in Springfield- baskctball in the basement. a garden club meeting in the living room, and hide-and-seek all over the place. To add to the confusion Father finds that Ralph and Betty have eloped! At least that's what he thinks. Actually they only went to a dance. 4'Fathcr Knows Best was a delightful evening ol' entertainment presented by the senior class April 2-l and 25 at the Lexington High Auditorium under the direction of Mrs. Barton Kline. All the truc to life adventures of the Anderson family made this an enjoyable and fun-filled comedy.
