It is hard to conceive of doing without her. She comes in contact with every one. You may not even know other teachers under whom you have no classes, but Miss Knapple is the personal adviser of all. She knows every student and seems to understand exactly the environment and home conditions that prevail. How she is able to help everyone out of difficulties, guide pupils into proper channels, and at the same time be the force which keeps the school life going smoothly is a mystery.
