The art education department conjures a unique ex- perience at the high school that excites and challenges the students, staff, and me every day. Its relevancy to 1973 is that, we utilize experiences in the history of man’s development as a basis to today’s civilization and artistic ideologies. Paul Ciano Department Head ANGELO. D. Mrs. Peaslee . Eleftherakis Mr. Gillespie Mr. DiDomenico MUSIC For years the goals of the music department have been to bring to students a wide variety of music for perusal and or performance. Similarly we try to provide a vari- ety of experimental situations for students. Students may elect to participate in a variety of choral or in- strumental groups, each with a repertoire unique to the group—from classical to rock ensembles. Theory and History of Music are approached from the same viewpoint although are academic in nature. Donald Gillespie Department Head JOSEPH DIDOMENICO: Boston University, Bridgewater State College; “O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion, get thee up on those high pitches; lift up thy voice—in tune.” E.
