GEASS Oni o7 CLASS OFFICERS—Seated: Harry Brown, Treastrer; Martha McNamara, Secretary. Standing: Steven Osborn, President; Mr. Southwick, Advisor; Mr. Buck, Advisor; George Doucette, Vice- President. Being a junior is finally achieving the status of an upper- classman. It is being separated into three units in two different buildings, and having as our one goal unification of the class. It is the anticipation of our first Prom, the happiness and self-confidence of our newly acquired driver's license, and the self-satisfaction of an expanded Prefect System, giving us honor studies and the absence of teachers patrolling our lunchrooms. It is pride, for our scholars, student leaders, advisors, and varsity letter-winning athletes —who will make our teams the best in the Middlesex League next year. It is the year we begin to think about Our post-graduate plans and experience for the first time the sweat and tears of College Entrance Exams. It is the year for chemistry, hard teachers, and trying to learn about five centuries of American history in approximately 145 hours. The junior year is one of growing maturity, accomplishment, and fun. 58
