Cooking is learning how to rely on your own cooking abilities rather than on a Betty Crocker cake mix ... burning at least one “creation” . mixing 4 cups of flour, 1 teasp. of baking soda, 1 teasp. of cinnamon, % teasp. of salt, 1 teasp. of ginger and then finding out it was only 2 cups of flour.
