“Every February certain juniors and seniors, who exhibit the qualities of service, character, leadership, and scholarship, are inducted into the National Honor Society,” stated the School Committeeman. ‘James Smith,” announced the speaker, followed by rustlings and murmurings of surprise from the audience.
